Hey guys, this is Jake here with etrailer. Today we're gonna be taking a look at, and I'm gonna show you how to install the Global Link Locking Baggage Door Latch. And right off the bat, the biggest difference between this baggage door latch and pretty much all the other ones on our website is gonna be that the other ones are going to be more so replacements for baggage door latches you already have, whereas this one is going to be a more universal fit. The biggest difference is that the latching mechanism here is going to be on this backing plate, whereas on the other ones it's going to be on the latch itself. So this will reach through and control it. But where this comes in handy is with the thickness of your door. more

Today I have a 2019 Express Van Coachmen Freelander motor home and I want to walk through how to install the JR products door latch.Typically you would see these on doors that fold up to hold the door up, but that doesn't necessarily mean that it has to be put on there. These are going to be great replacements if yours are broke. Then you can see this door is going to open this way. And our customer, when he's getting stuff out, doesn't like the door closing, he wants to be able to hold it open. So, a windy day, you got the wind blowing this way, it's irritating when that door is closing on you when you're in there trying to get stuff out. more

Shane: Hey guys, Shane here with eTrailer.com. Today I have a 2007 Starcraft Homestead fifth wheel trailer and I want to walk you through how to install the Global Link Baggage Door Lock Set. You may also know them as slam locks.The nice thing about these is when you compare them to your standard locks, that come on some of your older campers and RVs, these tend to get wore out. They can be replaced, but sometimes they don't always hold in place. These will break off and it kind of can be a pain in the butt. So adding a setup like this to your doors is going to make it a lot easier. more
